  • listening, selecting, reviewing, and purchasing music to be used in lessons

  • researching, creating and copying various resources for students

  • creating a the monthly newsletter to keep you up-to-date on studio news and opportunities

  • searching performance opportunities for my students

  • offering 3 separate monthly studio classes (adults, kids, Suzuki)

  • preparing for studio classes

  • helping young students find the right size flute for them

  • helping students select an intermediate flute when ready

  • organizing recitals, putting together the program, printing of programs

  • finding highly qualified accompanists, scanning and printing music for accompanists

  • helping students rehearse with an accompanist for upcoming recitals, competitions, and evaluations.

  • engaging in ongoing professional development such as workshops, courses, and convention events

  • answer questions between lessons in emails and texts.

  • loan out flutes to students whose instruments are in the shop.
